Imperial Weekend in Rambouillet 2025
Every year, Rambouillet hosts its Imperial Weekend, a historical reenactment event that immerses you in the Napoleonic era.
Experience a day in the Emperor's shoes thanks to 150 passionately costumed extras.
The 2025 edition will take place on October 11th and 12th in an exceptional setting: the Château de Rambouillet, the Bergerie Nationale, and the Place de la Libération.
During the two days of reenactment, experience the heart of history in three historic locations.
The Château de Rambouillet once again becomes a sumptuous imperial residence for one day. You will be immersed in the autumn of 1811, one of the rare periods of peace during the Napoleonic era.
Throughout the day, you will participate in numerous activities.
You'll have the opportunity to witness scenes from historical life, costumed parades, and demonstrations of craftsmanship.
At the Bergerie Nationale, follow the military life of the imperial era within the bivouac and discover the infantrymen, cavalrymen, and artillerymen in full preparation.
Numerous workshops will be organized around working with Merino wool.
Finally, don't miss the grand dinner with the Emperor at Place de la Libération. More than 40 reenactors will portray the Emperor's entourage and his staff.
Throughout the weekend, Rambouillet is transformed into an open-air theater.
Enjoy children's workshops, costumed guided tours, period music concerts, and temporary exhibitions.
