I'm staying at Best Western Plus MidAmerica Hotel in Mascoutah, IL and I'm delighted to put in my sterling review for my stay and the people making it happen-Manager Justin, and front desk ladies Bailee and Vickie.

I had concerns about my reservations and Justin took care of me, putting my worries completely aside. The trip to this area is one I've looked forward, having last been here in 2012. The quality and service provided by these fine staff members has made it a joy. Thank you.

Stayed at best western premier in Secaucus Nj from 5/7-5/12.
Upon checking in had it documented in the system that we required no housekeeping and didn’t want any staff entering our room.
Returned to the hotel evening of 5/8 and upon arriving on our floor noticed our room was open.
My wife was scared and I entered noticing that the deadbolt had been deployed so the door could never close. My wife noticed her suitcase had been opened and we immediately went to file a report with the front desk. I also called corporate and filed an incident report with them.
I didn’t hear back from best western and decided to write an email detailing the incident with Mark Hoefling who is a senior VP. Needless to say Mark Hoefling passed the information down the road as he considered a security incident below his position.
I have documented emails admitting their offer hotel staff entered even though it was documented for no entry in their system. They also admitted they left the door open which allowed not only staff, but anyone to enter my room, go through my belongings and potentially hide to attack my wife and family as the security of a locked door was compromised by hotel staff.
Best Western decided a $75 discount off a 5 night stay was adequate for a safety, security and privacy violation.
I declined the offer as both an insult and an embarrassment.
I would warn anyone that values the safety, security and privacy of their family to avoid best western.

Avoid this hotel. Please Do Not stay here. Friday morning I met with the Front Desk clerk at this hotel and asked to see if I can have early access to the room I paid for in advance. He told me to come back at 2:00 pm. which I did. I arrived at 01:45 pm and I told him that I was very sick and wanted immediate access to my room .He told me "No" and that I would have to come back at 04:00 pm and that he didn't care if I was sick. I told him that I want my money back for the (2) nights. To date, I I have received nothing in terms of financial reimbursement for the (2) nights stays, My room was supposed reserved for me since I was part of a large group already staying at this hotel. My belief is that he sold my room to someone else and wants me to go away.

Best Western Titusville: bed felt like a bowl, nonexistent lighting, smell of musty and urine, outside door lock only worked one out of every five or six tries, A/C rattled. The Breakfast Room was tiny and only held a few people. We couldn’t even squeeze in long enough to grab a plate and run back to our room with it.
If these problems haven’t scared you off, the bathroom and shower were good, television and programming okay, rattling A/C was cold. Parking was easy, the interstate was nearby and all the boring comforts of home all around- Mickey D’s, Wally World, grocery and hardware. The beach was a bit of a drive. About an hour to see The Mouse.

Me and my partner came to avail of the spa and massage.
-Calmness 5/5
-Room and cleanliness 4/5 (strong smell of sanitizer in the hallway/corridors are too much for the nose and the lungs!
-Welcome and hospitality at the reception is impeccable 5/5
-Spa 3/5, pool water do not have enough clorine, the wet dangerous floor are not maintained safe, someone should clear out extra water (feet towels for example!) or have evacuation of water. Lemon water is OLD and could be hazardous to stomach.We did not mind bringing in our own towels. Its fine.
-Massage 0/5. Lack of communication, body zones to be avoided, level of intensity is ignored, despite precision and request to put a bit more pressure. We paid 200€ for 50mins duo massage for which indicates a choice of intensity , which I found is extremely expensive for the area, for the quality of the service, and surely for the chronic LAZINESS of the masseuse. Either she is not qualified at all and just got the job by accident, or she needs to go back to « well being school »
I have close to a hundred experiences in massage and spa in lots of hotels around the world, and I am willing to pat the price, but this one is totally the WORST !!! It felt like she just put oil all over my body, I can do that at home for Free!
-the same masseuse did not like that I ask for a quietness and cut the music in the massage cabins. pop Music during massage ? COME ON ! And she showed her unpleasantness with me during the massage.
